Born in South America, Chile, Lorenza Francesca Izzo Parsons, famously known just as Lorenza Izzo to her fans, is a 32-year-old superstar model and actress. On 19 September 1989 her mother, Rosita Parsons, a 17 years old professional model. Her father, Claudio Izzo, is, however, of Italian descent. Therefore, her ethnic background may be a mix of English, Italian, and Spanish. Her younger half-sister, Clara Lyons Parsons, is also a model, and she is a niece to Caroline Parsons, an actress and a model.

Education and Career

Lorenza Izzo began her education while schooling in Chile but moved to Italy with her father at 12. Her father was then studying for his PhD in Atalanta at Georgia Institute of Technology. She was bullied at the Italian school where she was enrolled in Italy due to her thick Chilean accent but adjusted after “getting over the Chilean accent pretty fast” a few months later. Her interest in acting developed after she watched ‘Blue Crush’ in 2002 and she became “obsessed” with the film actress Kate Bosworth. Much later, she joined the University of Andes, where she was studying journalism, and after graduating, she took an acting course at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, which made her move to New York. She made her debut in the acting industry in 2010 in the film Instrucciones Para Mi Funeral (Instructions for My Funeral), produced by Sabastian Rudic, which she took as a project before graduating. Lorenza attended a Sao Paulo Fashion Week in 2011, accompanied by her mother, where she met Gisele Bundenchen, landing a modeling deal of becoming the new “Face of Colcci” that heightened her modeling career. She appeared in the comedy film “Sorry about Your Wedding” as Lucia Edwards, directed by Nicolas Lopez, in the same year. She later appeared in more outstanding works, including AfterShock as Kylie, The Green Inferno as Justine, and What a Pity about Your Family. Landing minor parts in an I am Victor, and Hemlock Grove saw her move to Los Angeles. In 2015 she was featured in the horror Knock, Knock as Genesis directed by Eli Roth. Her hard work gained her nominations in 2011 and 2014 for Copihua de Oro TV model and from her role in The Green Inferno Best Actress for The Blood Guts UK Horror, respectively. She has also played roles in excellent film works like The Stranger as Ana, Sex Education as Pilar, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood as Francesca Capucci.

In 2010 the actress and model were rumoured to have dated Peaches Geldof, but their relationship was short and ended after a year. She then married Eli Roth, a horror film director and actor, in 2014 at a ceremony held in the Valparaiso Region on Zapallar beach in Chile. They had worked together in the films “Knock Knock” and “Green Inferno”. The two lovebirds met in 2013 while working on the movie “The Green Inferno”, with Eli as the director and Lorenza playing the role of Pollo. Their mutual friend and director, Nicolas Lopez, confirmed their entanglement when he introduced the pair amid a master production of the film. However, the couple filed for a divorce in 2018, almost four years into marriage, which was finalized in the summer of August 2019. The two, however, have no children together. She came out openly about her pansexuality to Emily Hampshire during a meeting that they had online.  The famous starlet can be said to be currently single.
